"Change your perspective, you can change the world."

Mash Vass is inspired by artists like Marcelle Ferron, Frida Kahlo, Lee Krasner, and Hannah Höch. Her work explores life and death, the masculine and feminine, and the human body in motion. She’s especially drawn to collage, where she can blend her own photography with ink to create pieces with a unique and personal touch. Some of her work now resides in private collections around the world.

Her art has been showcased in exhibitions and featured in online publications internationally. She’s participated in residencies, including Mudhouse Art Residency in Crete (2019), the Iris Artist Program and SkopArt Residency in Greece (2022), and Chateau Orquevaux in France (2023).

Through her work, Mash celebrates the beauty in both joy and grief, seeing each emotion as an opportunity for growth and reflection. Losing her mother at a young age shaped her perspective, giving her a deep appreciation for life’s fleeting moments. Her art honours her Greek heritage and immigrant family, weaving in the history, culture, and sacrifices of her ancestors.

Mash hopes her art sparks moments of joy, sadness, clarity, compassion, and wisdom in everyone who encounters it.
